DEZ Group

Based in Taringa, DEZ Group is an air conditioning technician business working across Brisbane and the Gold Coast, handling split system installation, ducted air conditioning, commercial work, plus repairs and servicing for homes and businesses alike. Their tagline sums up the approach nicely: local people, better air.

The feeling around Taringa is that they turn up when they say they will and keep you posted along the way. People who've had them out mention gas leaks diagnosed and sorted quickly, regas work done without fuss, and units left running better than before. They're the kind of air conditioning technician that explains what's gone wrong and how to stay on top of it, which goes a long way when you're trying to get a bedroom cool before summer hits. Tidy work around the home comes up often too, with technicians described as polite and respectful in and around the place.

They offer emergency call-outs and round-the-clock support, so if a system drops out at an awkward time it's worth phoning to check what they can do. A quote is provided before any work starts, and locals tend to describe the pricing as fair, with communication that stays quick from first call to finished job. One local put it simply: quality work, well-priced and quick to respond.

Opinion isn't quite unanimous, and we've heard the odd grumble about a quote not matching the final bill, so it's sensible to confirm the scope and the figure in writing before they begin. On the whole, though, people call DEZ Group back for the next job and happily point neighbours their way. If you need an aircon fault looked at or a new system put in around Brisbane, check in with them for a quote.
