About Tormey's Air & Ice

Tormey's Air & Ice looks after air conditioning and commercial refrigeration across the Cairns region, and the word around Trinity Beach is that they are a steady, professional outfit. The team holds a QBCC Act licence under Tormey Enterprises Pty Ltd.

Ask the people who've had them out and the same things come up: technicians who turn up when they say they will, keep you in the loop from the office through to the job, and leave the place as clean as they found it. People have had units put in with no mess left behind and quoted prices honoured. Others point to the care taken on annual maintenance, with technicians happy to walk you through what they are doing. The office staff get a particular mention too, with people describing them as helpful and upfront from the first phone call.

They also take on commercial work, from servicing to sorting replacements for older systems that have finally given up, done with minimal disruption to the business. Commercial emergencies can be phoned through 24/7, so it is worth calling to check timing for your situation. One local did note a billing surprise after a job, so it pays to confirm the call-out arrangement and charges up front, but the general feeling is of trustworthy, well-presented tradespeople who do good work.
