About Northern Air Tech

Northern Air Tech is a familiar name for heat pumps and air conditioning in Launceston, Tasmania, handling split system installation, repairs and servicing, ducted systems and commercial work for homes and businesses. Their own team describes them as heat pump specialists, and the sense around the region is that this is exactly where people turn when a unit dies in the cold. They work across Northern Tasmania, from Deloraine and Campbell Town through to Scottsdale, Bridport and the West Tamar.

Check with those who've had Andrew or the team out and you hear the same things: a check in with them before they arrive, turning up on time, explaining what they are doing, then cleaning up properly before they leave. One local had a heat pump installed that warmed the whole house for the first time in years, and one customer received sensible advice on getting the most out of a system. People appreciate that they keep in touch through a job, even when parts have to be ordered in from the mainland.

The team carries a Refrigerant Trading Authorisation (AU54871), and free quotes are on offer, so it is easy enough to ask them to price a job. They handle emergency call-outs too, which matters when the heating gives out on a wet Launceston morning. We have heard the odd grumble about a quote appointment that did not line up, but that runs against the grain of what most people say.

For a new heat pump, a service before winter or a repair on a system that has stopped pulling its weight, Northern Air Tech is worth considering. Contact them to check availability and get in touch.
