About Degree C

Degree C is a multi-trade contractor working out of Ulverstone, Tasmania, with a long history behind it: the business has been going for around 60 years. These days the team installs and services split systems, fits ducted air conditioning and heat pumps, and handles commercial work alongside its wider electrical, mechanical and refrigeration jobs.

Ask anyone who's had them out and you'll hear the same sort of things. They turn up when they say they will, keep you in the loop through the job, and leave the place tidy at the end. One local with an old double-brick home, where the install meant drilling under a concrete deck, talked about how neatly it was all sealed and levelled off, and how the crew carried the right tools and finished without fuss. Another living in a house built in 1888 appreciated the respect shown to a place that was never going to be easy to work in.

People mention that quotes are explained clearly and without pressure, and that prices tend to come in fairer than expected. Charlie and Luke both get a look-in for taking the time to walk homeowners through their options before any work starts, and the installers themselves are described as pleasant and clean in their work.

The sense around the North-West is that Degree C does a careful, professional job and sorts out any technical wrinkles rather than leaving them hanging. If you need a split system, ducted system or heat pump looked at, check in with them and get in touch.
