About JR Evans Heating & Cooling
JR Evans Heating & Cooling is a family-owned air conditioning business based in Maddingley, and the general view around the area is strong. People who've had them out for a split system install, a ducted reverse cycle setup or a service tend to recommend them to the next person without hesitation. It's the kind of business households call back when they move or build again, and that says plenty.
The team handles split system installation, repairs and servicing, ducted air conditioning and commercial work, serving homes and businesses across Melbourne's West and Northern suburbs, including Melton, Bacchus Marsh, Sunbury, Gisborne and Essendon. They bring over 20 years of hands-on experience between them, and it shows in the way they go about a job. The business is fully licensed and insured, ARCtick certified and VBA registered, and they offer a free site visit if you want a quote.
What locals mention again and again is the care taken from the first phone call through to the clean-up. Josh and the team get a lot of praise for explaining options clearly and not pushing units nobody needs, and people appreciate that the person who comes out to assess and quote actually knows the trade rather than just selling. We've heard that Alex (and Alexander) is good at working out the right system for a home and keeping customers informed throughout. On install day, the crew turn up on time, communicate well, and are known for leaving a place tidy, taking shoes off before heading into bedrooms and clearing away the rubbish before they go.
One household had a whole gas-to-electric changeover done in a day; others mention new Panasonic, Mitsubishi Electric and Daikin systems installed neatly and working well. They also do emergency call-outs when a heater or cooler gives out. If you need a system sorted in Maddingley or the surrounding suburbs, get in touch and contact them.
