RACV Trades

RACV Trades is a familiar name in Melbourne, and the reputation around town is that they come into their own when something goes wrong at an awkward hour. Their work runs to repairs and servicing, along with emergency breakdowns through their Home Assist product.

What we hear most often is how well they keep you in the loop. More than one local has mentioned being texted updates from dispatch as a job progressed, so you're not left wondering when someone will turn up. Punctuality comes up again and again too, with technicians arriving when they said they would and getting on with it. One person who locked themselves out late on a cold evening spoke warmly of the care taken until the door was finally open, and others have praised the tidy, no-fuss way jobs get wrapped up.

The emergency call-out side seems to be where this team earns its keep. People have had late-night and weekend problems sorted, from a sprung leak flooding a bathroom to an electrical fault put right in the small hours. Technicians who've attended are often described as kind, knowledgeable and happy to explain what's going on, and a few locals have made a point of thanking the individual who helped them by name.

It isn't flawless, and Melbourne folk are a little split on the follow-up side of things. We've heard the odd grumble about waiting on a promised call-back or quote that was slow to arrive, so it's worth staying on top of any next steps that get mentioned on the day.

For a repair, a service or an emergency breakdown in Melbourne, Victoria, RACV Trades is a service plenty of locals keep in their back pocket. Get in touch to talk through your situation and check availability.
