About Thunderman Electrical and Air Conditioning Services
Thunderman Electrical and Air Conditioning Services is the kind of outfit people in Melbourne keep coming back to. Run and worked entirely by Yiannis Knodarites, a licensed electrician with over 20 years in the trade, this is an owner-operated business that handles split system installation, repairs and servicing alongside electrical work across Greater Melbourne. Yiannis holds his REC licence with Energy Safe Victoria, is ARCtick certified and VBA licensed, and carries public liability cover.
Ask anyone who's had him out and the same things come up: he turns up when he says he will, keeps you in the loop before and during the job, and leaves the place spotless when he's done. One local described him arriving with a big smile, a vacuum cleaner and a dustpan, which tells you plenty about how he likes to finish a job. People mention how neatly the work is done and how carefully he explains what genuinely needs fixing versus what can wait.
The trickier the job, the more people seem to rate him. We've heard about him sorting out awkward house layouts, running cabling where there was barely room, and finding a workable solution where others might have thrown their hands up. He offers free quotes and tends to be quick to answer messages, and the impression around Melbourne is that his prices are fair for the standard of work.
For a split system install, a repair or servicing from someone who does the job himself and takes pride in a tidy finish, Yiannis is worth considering. Ask about timing and availability when you get in touch.
