About Cummins Contracting

Cummins Contracting has been at the heating and cooling game for 30 years, working out of a Notting Hill workshop and covering metropolitan Melbourne. They handle split system installation, repairs and servicing, ducted air conditioning and commercial work, and they're comfortable with both older equipment and the newer energy-efficient gear. The business holds an ARC licence (Reg No. 19653) and is RTA registered, and they offer free, no-obligation quotes before a job starts.

Ask anyone who's used them and the same things come up: they turn up when they say they will, keep in touch through the job, and the final bill lines up with what was quoted. We've heard good things about the installers in particular, from a new ducted reverse cycle system to replacing an old Brivis gas heater, with people mentioning how neat and tidy the work areas were left, packaging taken away rather than dumped on the kerb. One local whose mum needed a ducted heating unit replaced spoke warmly about how kind and efficient the team was with her, the sort of thing that keeps a 30-year reputation intact.

Plenty of locals get in touch back for the next job, some years after the first, which tells you something about the care that goes in. They also do emergency call-outs when a system packs it in. There was the odd grumble about a call-out fee not being flagged upfront, so it's worth confirming any charges when you book. For a split system, ducted heating or commercial HVAC work in Melbourne, give Cummins Contracting a call and contact them.
