About Border Heating & Cooling

Border Heating & Cooling has been looking after homes and businesses around Wodonga, Victoria for 30 years, and they've built a name that travels by word of mouth right across the Albury/Wodonga region. They handle split system installation, repairs and servicing, ducted air conditioning and commercial work, and their own team describes the business as supplying and installing heating and cooling of all kinds, from evaporative cooling and ducted reverse cycle through to hydronic heating and commercial HVAC. If something gives out on a scorching day, they also take emergency call-outs.

Ask anyone who's had them out and the same things come up: they turn up when they say they will, keep you in the loop from quote through to the finished job, and leave the place clean. More than one local has talked about the quoting and consultation being straightforward, with clear communication making the decision an easy one. People mention the team walking them through how a new system works before packing up, and even sorting small touches like mounting a remote holder on the wall. One person said their technician gave them the full rundown on looking after the unit and potential issues down the track, and that they felt like part of the family by the time he left.

The crew gets named a lot, which tells you plenty: David and Anna on the organising side, and Josh, Joel, Cooper, Daniel and the broader install team on the tools. Cooper is the one people point to for hydronic floor heating, sorting out a unit that had stopped working and being polite and sharp about it. Folks also speak well of the maintenance side, where an older unit was checked over and the technician passed on useful information about what it might need in future.

Pricing is often called fair for the standard of work, and people keep recommending them to friends. For a split, ducted or commercial job in Wodonga, it's a solid outfit to call for a quote.
