OBR Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Centre

OBR Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Centre is a licensed and insured team working out of Lange, Western Australia, handling split system installation, repairs and servicing, ducted systems, commercial work and emergency breakdowns. The business has been going since 2006, covering residential and commercial jobs across the Great Southern region.

People who've had them out tend to talk about the same things: a team that turns up when they said they would, keeps you in the loop from the first contact through to the finished job, and leaves the place tidy. More than one local has mentioned the installers taking the time to explain how the new system works before they pack up, which is the sort of thing that gets a business remembered. One household needed a unit in a hurry during a tough family stretch and the crew sorted it out before Christmas, which says plenty about how they handle an urgent call.

The verdict around Albany and surrounds is that they're reliable and genuinely pleasant to deal with, from the quote right through to the clean-up. Daniel, Troy and the installation crew come up by name from people who've used them, and one customer has returned for repeat jobs. They offer after-hours emergency call-outs too, so they're an option to consider when something packs up at an awkward time.

Opinion isn't unanimous, and we've heard the odd grumble about after-sales follow-up. On the whole, though, OBR has earned a solid reputation locally for split and ducted installs done neatly and explained properly. If you need an air conditioning technician in Lange, ask them for a quote and check timing to suit your job.
