About ACR Service & Installations

ACR Service & Installations is an air conditioning contractor working out of Maida Vale, Western Australia, handling split system installation, repairs and servicing, and ducted air conditioning. They look after both reverse cycle and evaporative systems, so whatever you're running at home, they can take a look.

Locals who've had them out tend to come back for the next job, some of them year after year, which tells you plenty. We've heard about a mouldy reverse cycle unit scrubbed back to fresh, a split system sorted in short order, and an obsolete cassette air con kept going when a replacement part seemed near impossible. People mention the office being easy to deal with on the phone and the work itself being friendly and efficient, with fair pricing. There's the odd grumble about turning up inside the window, though plenty come away pleased.

They're known for fixing issues first time where they can, and they handle emergency call-outs. Give them a call to talk through what you need and sort out timing.

Frequently Asked Questions About ACR Service & Installations

: ACR Service & Installations takes on split system installation, repairs and servicing, and ducted air conditioning, along with reverse cycle and evaporative systems. Jobs mentioned include scrubbing mould out of a reverse cycle unit, fixing a solenoid and cleaning filters on an evaporative system, replacing a capacitor on an obsolete cassette air con, and getting a faulty split system running again quickly.
: Locals mention reasonable pricing, including a solenoid fix and filter clean on an evaporative unit done in about half an hour, and a secondhand capacitor sourced and fitted on an obsolete cassette unit at a fair price. Since no fixed rates are listed, ask ACR Service & Installations for a quote on your specific job before booking.
: Have details of your system type on hand, whether it's a split, ducted, reverse cycle or evaporative unit, along with a description of the fault, such as a bad smell, a part failure or the unit not turning on at all. Being available at the property for the appointment is worth confirming when you book, as one customer noted the office preferred the account holder present rather than a family member.
: Yes. One Maida Vale customer with a large, obsolete cassette air con had a capacitor fail and ACR tracked down a secondhand replacement part and fitted it rather than recommending a full system swap. Long-standing customers, some who say they've used the family business for around 25 years, point to this kind of practical, cost-conscious approach to servicing and repairs.
