About Climate Plus - Canberra
The consensus around Canberra is that Climate Plus has earned a loyal following, and it's plain why. Based in Fyshwick, this is a home services team that handles split system installation, repairs and servicing, along with commercial air conditioning and emergency breakdowns. Their website describes a crew of fully qualified and licensed technicians, holding an Australian Refrigeration Council Refrigerant Handling Licence and an ACT Electrical Contractor Licence, among other credentials, and they carry insurance for the work they do.
People who've had them out tend to mention the same things. Technicians turn up on time, often a touch early, and take the trouble to explain what they're doing and what they've found. One local had Brandon out to service an air conditioner and came away impressed by how thoroughly he cleaned and serviced the unit, leaving the house heating faster and running quieter. Another had Thomas and an offsider service a ducted system and couldn't fault the job. That mix of clear communication, tidy work and genuine know-how keeps coming up, and it's the sort of thing that gets a business recommended to family and friends.
The quoting side draws warm words too. More than one local has noted that the bill matched the quote with no hidden surprises, and the team is known for being competitive and straight with pricing. People also point to how accommodating the crew can be when other trades are involved and timelines need to shift. For those after wider work, Climate Plus also handles solar, batteries, hot water, gas heating, electrical and plumbing across Canberra, so an air conditioning job can sit alongside a larger plan to move off gas.
They run emergency call-outs as well, so it's worth asking about timing when you ring. If you need an air conditioning technician in Canberra who communicates clearly and does neat work, Climate Plus is worth a try for a quote.
