About Chilly Air

Chilly Air is a family-owned air conditioning and refrigeration business serving Currajong and the wider North Queensland community, and it's a name locals keep passing along when the heat and humidity get the better of a unit. They handle split system installation, repairs and servicing, ducted systems and commercial work, and their own words cover the bigger jobs too, from complex installs and VRF systems through to cold rooms. The team brings over 29 years in the HVACR industry, and it shows in the range of work they take on.

Ask anyone who's had them out and a few names come up warmly: Shaun for quick, reasonable quoting and getting people booked in when other mobs have left them waiting, and Ashton for careful split system cleans. People mention the crew turning up on time, keeping them posted on arrival, and working around the household so day-to-day life isn't disrupted. Installers like Nathan and Jake get a nod for polite, professional work and tidying up the mess before they leave.

What we hear again and again is clear communication and clean, thorough jobs. They're a licensed team, they offer free quotes, and emergency call-outs are part of what they do, so it's an option to consider to check availability if something's packed up on you. Opinion isn't unanimous, and we've heard the odd grumble about a job that didn't go to plan, but the steady reputation around the area leans firmly positive.

If you're after a split or ducted system installed, serviced or repaired in Currajong, Chilly Air is an air conditioning technician plenty of locals happily call back for the next job. Get in touch or check in with them.
