About Carseldine Air Conditioning

Carseldine Air Conditioning, based in Everton Hills, Queensland, handles split system installation, repairs and servicing, ducted systems and commercial work. Trading as CAC Mechanical Services, the team takes on commercial mechanical services, design and construction, and ongoing service and maintenance across Queensland.

Ask anyone who's used them and the thing that comes up is reliability: technicians turning up when they said they would and keeping people in the loop from quote through to the finished job. We've heard good things about their office staff being quick off the mark during the busy run into summer, getting a quote sorted and a job booked when other places were weeks out. One local who had a ducted system serviced noted the technician stayed upbeat even working in the heat of the roof and got it done properly, checking the unit was running efficiently. They also handle emergency call-outs, which is worth knowing when a system packs it in at the wrong time.

People who've had them out for both installs and annual servicing tend to come back for the next job, whether that's replacing old units or keeping existing ones running cleanly. Their techs get a name locally for being friendly, straight talking and thorough, going over filters, electrical circuits and pressures rather than just the obvious.

As with any busy outfit there's the odd grumble, usually around communication on a longer job or a call-out that didn't land the way someone hoped, so it's sensible to be clear about the fault and get the scope in writing up front. For a split or ducted system in the Everton Hills area, they are worth a try. Ask them about timing when you book.
