Green and Gold Electrics

Green and Gold Electrics is a family-owned business that's become a real local favourite around Brighton East and the wider Bayside area, with much of the praise landing on Martin, the sparky who turns up to the jobs. He's the kind of tradesperson people call back and recommend to friends: diagnosing faulty wiring, upgrading halogens to LED lighting across a whole house, installing power points, outdoor outlets, smoke alarms and even trickier work like speakers and custom lighting.

The sense around the area is that he turns up when he says he will, keeps people informed at every stage, and leaves the place clean and tidy when he's done. More than one local has mentioned him sorting a problem another firm couldn't, and plenty appreciate that he explains what's going on and offers practical, creative solutions rather than just the quick fix. One person put it simply: they wouldn't bother with any other electrician.

The business has been going for 25 years, and Martin Meehan brings over 35 years in the electrical industry, which shows in the breadth of work on offer, from domestic and commercial installation and electrical safety checks through to switchboard thermal imaging, CCTV and security, and home entertainment setups. They carry a licensed team and are known locally for fair, honest pricing.

Emergency call-outs are part of what they do, including after-hours work when something can't wait. Green and Gold Electrics is also listed as LGBTQ+ friendly. For a tidy, communicative electrician in Brighton East, Victoria, get in touch and check timing with Martin directly.
