About Duct Doctor

Duct Doctor has built a solid name around Cheltenham and Greater Melbourne for ducted air conditioning work, and the word around the area is that they look after the whole job properly: repairs and servicing, duct cleaning and sanitisation, vent replacement, and sorting out vermin in the ductwork. For anyone staring at yellowed vents that no longer sit flush or a ducted system that needs a clean after a renovation, this is the kind of air conditioning technician business people in Cheltenham call and then recommend to family and friends.

A few things come up again and again. Technicians turn up on time, often with a day-in-advance window so you know roughly when to expect them, and people single out how careful and tidy they are, cleaning up after themselves and even locking up when finishing a job in an empty house. The communication is a big part of why locals warm to them. More than one person mentions Patricia (also called Pat) in the office, who handles quotes and bookings and takes the time to explain ducted systems to people who admit they don't know the first thing about them. On the tools, Lian (also written as Lian) and Liam get named for being polite, efficient and doing a genuinely professional job. One local put it simply after having two large ceiling vents replaced: the new ones look so much better, and the communication was excellent from first contact to finished job.

They hold carbon monoxide testing licensing and describe themselves as fully licensed and insured, and they offer a free, no-obligation quote, so it's easy to get a clear price before anything starts. Worth knowing: one person felt a small job came in dearer than expected, though they had no complaint about the work itself. If you want tidy, well-communicated ducted work in Cheltenham, Duct Doctor is worth a try to talk through your system and check in with them.
