About GCR Solar Hervey Bay

GCR Solar Hervey Bay is a family-owned business run by Gary and Christabelle, and it has earned a genuinely strong name around Pialba and the wider Fraser Coast. They handle split system installation, repairs and servicing, alongside solar and battery work, and have been going for around ten years now. Locals will tell you the team turns up when they say they will, keeps you in the loop from the quote right through to completion, and leaves the place clean and tidy when they pack up.

One thing people appreciate is the straight talking. The team is known for explaining how a system works in plain terms, answering questions without the hard sell, and sticking to the facts about the hardware rather than talking down other operators. More than one person has mentioned the care taken on site, from hiding wiring neatly behind brickwork to replacing cracked roof tiles rather than drilling through them. When the bill lands, it tends to match the quote, which is the sort of thing that brings people back and has them passing the name along.

Gary and Christabelle run a licensed and insured team, with electricians and solar specialists accredited in solar design and PV installation through the Clean Energy Council. Christabelle is often the point of contact, and people single out her prompt, clear communication throughout a job. The team is also good at sorting problems after the fact, like organising and commissioning a replacement inverter without fuss.

Being local matters here too. People like knowing the crew is close by if something needs looking at, rather than dealing with someone far away. The car park and entrance are wheelchair accessible. For a split system install, a repair or servicing in Pialba and across the Fraser Coast, GCR Solar Hervey Bay is an easy one to call for a quote, and it is worth checking timing with them when you book.
