About Savage Air

Savage Air has built a strong name around Pakenham and Melbourne's south east as install specialists, and it's easy to see why people keep pointing their friends their way. The team handles split system installations, repairs and servicing, and ducted air conditioning, along with reverse cycle systems, gas and electric ducted heating, evaporative cooling and duct replacements. A lot of their work involves swapping out tired old gas ducted heaters or evaporative coolers for modern reverse-cycle ducted systems, and they look after the government rebate paperwork that comes with it.

What locals talk about most is how smoothly the whole thing runs. People mention turning up on time as promised, working through a long install day without cutting corners, and leaving the site clean with the old systems taken away. The office side gets a lot of warm words too, with Alana (also spelt Elana) keeping people in the loop and sorting the rebate side of things. Out on the job you'll hear names like Jonty, Mark, Riley, Richard and their crews come up again and again, all described as polite, knowledgeable and happy to walk you through your new controller and paperwork at the end.

Something that comes through clearly is the advice side. Rather than pushing the biggest system, they're known for laying out the options, explaining the process, and helping people land on what actually suits the home. Builders working on high-end projects rate them for the same reason, calling on them repeatedly because the work gets done properly and the communication stays clear.

They offer free quotes and are known for fair, competitive pricing. They work weekdays, so it's an option to consider to sort out timing and book an inspection. If you're in Pakenham and weighing up a new split system or a ducted upgrade, Savage Air is a genuine local favourite worth getting on the phone.
