About Treadies HVAC & R

Treadies HVAC & R is a family-owned air conditioning and refrigeration business working out of O'Connor, Western Australia, and the consensus around the area is that they handle everything from home servicing to ducted installs and bigger commercial jobs. They bring over 60 years of combined industry expertise to the work, and it shows in the way they design, install, commission and maintain mechanical systems, including ventilation and refrigeration for more complex buildings.

What people tend to mention is the way the whole team operates, not just the technicians on the tools. Hayley and the office crew are quick to book jobs in and good at keeping people posted the day before a visit, and techs like Christian, Alex and Michael turn up on time and take the trouble to explain how to get the best out of a unit, from control panels to filter maintenance. One local had a faulty air conditioner sorted in a single visit despite an awkward spot, and others point to tidy ducted installs that left them with reverse-cycle running beautifully. People who book a one-off service often end up signing on for an annual check-up, which tells you plenty.

They offer emergency call-outs and will provide a free quote, and the business describes itself as fully licensed and fully insured. Opinion isn't entirely one-sided; we've heard the odd grumble about communication and getting a problem fully resolved, so it's fair to set expectations when you book. Still, the balance of what locals say leans firmly positive, and more than one has gone out of their way to recommend them. If you need a home or commercial system looked at in O'Connor, give Treadies a call and get in touch.
