Northern Air Repair

Based in Portsmith, Northern Air Repair handles commercial air conditioning, refrigeration and electrical work across the region, taking on everything from repairs and servicing to cold rooms and emergency breakdowns. They also do electrical jobs including testing and tagging, and they carry both RTA and QBCC licences for the work they do. The consensus around Portsmith is that this is a team you can lean on when something stops working at an awkward moment, with on-call help available 24/7.

What people mention again and again is how the crew conducts itself on a job. The lads turn up when they say they will, keep you informed through the process and tidy up properly before they leave, hauling away old units and packaging rather than leaving it for you. One local recalled Tom and Harry working steadily through rain and humidity to swap out an old unit, then clearing everything into the trailer when they finished. Others talk about Jack sorting a faulty part and getting their system running again rather than pushing for a full replacement, and about Josh quoting and getting the work done quickly when it was urgent.

Plenty of people here are repeat customers who call Mark and the team back for the next job, from one-off repairs to looking after multiple systems at investment properties. The names Steve, Matt and the rest come up for being courteous and efficient, and several locals say the final bill landed fairer than they expected. The odd person has found the pricing steep, so it is worth asking for a clear quote up front. For commercial cooling, refrigeration or an after-hours breakdown in the Portsmith area, they are worth a try.
