About PCR Transport Refrigeration

Based in Portsmith, PCR Transport Refrigeration is a locally owned and family-operated business handling repairs, servicing and emergency breakdowns across Cairns and Queensland. Their main line is specialist transport refrigeration and air conditioning: servicing, diagnostics, preventative maintenance and major repairs for refrigerated trucks and trailers, refrigerated containers, bus and caravan air conditioning, and other mobile refrigeration gear. Locals have them out for split system installs and servicing around the home.

Ask anyone who's used them and the name Jason comes up fast. People who have had the team out talk about prompt service from the quote through to the finished job, clear communication the whole way, and crews who turn up when they say they will. More than one local mentions how tidy the team leaves a place afterwards, cleaning up carefully once the work is done. The reputation around Cairns is that they explain your options plainly and give realistic, fair quotes rather than a sales pitch.

For transport and refrigeration work especially, they have earned real trust: some locals have leaned on them for years with all their refrigerated servicing and breakdowns. The team carries electrical and related licences, and they offer after-hours emergency call-outs when a cold chain or a system fails outside normal hours.

One or two people have found a phone update harder to get than they'd like, so it's worth being clear about what you need when you call. That said, the overwhelming sentiment is strong, and people keep coming back for the next job. If you need refrigeration or air conditioning work in Cairns, PCR is worth a try to talk through your job and get in touch.
